Candle Care
The most important burn for a candle... is the first one!
When first lighting your candle ensure the wick has been trimmed to approximately 5mm, you must burn it for at least 3-4 hours or until the wax has melted to the edge of the glass or vessel; this creates a memory burn and stops your candle from tunnelling.
What is tunneling? This is when the wick burns straight down the centre creating a tunnel, instead of creating a pool of wax across the entire surface of your candle.
When you next re light your candle, it is important not to let it burn for more than 3 hours at a time, this avoids drowning/flooding of the wick.
Remember to always trim your wick to around 5mm after your candle has cooled, also remove any debris, this avoids any smoke and black soot for when you relight.

Trimming your wick helps lengthen the life of your candle and ensures a clean burn.
